25 students of RA universities will have the opportunity to receive scholarships. a memorandum was signed between AMIO Bank and the Ministry of CGMS.

A memorandum of understanding was signed between the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports and "AMIO Bank" closed joint-stock company on providing scholarships to students of RA higher educational institutions.


The memorandum was signed by Deputy Minister Artur Martirosyan on behalf of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, and on behalf of AMIO Bank, the authorized representative, director of the Bank's Corporate Center, Azamat Khakuy.

Artur Martirosyan emphasized the importance of cooperation with the private sector in the active phase of educational reforms in Armenia, noting that the signed memorandum is in the context of RA state policy. "Education and human capital development are primary factors for the state's progress, and it is very important that the private sector also invests in this sector in line with state policy. We hope that your example will be contagious to other entrepreneurs as well."

The representative of AMIO Bank thanked for the cooperation and emphasized that this is a small step to expand and develop further cooperative steps. "This is an investment for the future, the owners of which are today's students," said Azamat Khakuy.

Within the framework of the memorandum, up to 25 students with high progress from socially vulnerable groups of different RA universities will be given scholarships. The goal is the development of human capital, increasing the accessibility and availability of educational services, encouraging high-achieving students from socially disadvantaged groups, etc. A competition for the selection of students will be announced for the purpose of awarding the scholarship. The opportunity to work in the AMIO bank will be created for the students awarded the scholarship, strengthening the education-labour market connection through public-private sector cooperation.
