In particular, in the recording, the men talk about distributing money to some participants for participating in the protests organized by the "Tavush for the Motherland" movement, the fact that it is scarce compared to the participation and the expenses incurred, taking more money from other people and giving them comparatively less, money issues. about having a discussion about.
As a result of the operational and investigative measures taken, the identities of other persons who had a conversation heard in the recording were found out.
On the occasion of 2024 On June 2, a criminal proceeding was initiated in the Serious Crimes Investigation Department of the Investigation Department of the RA Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia, under Part 2 of Article 236 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia.

On the basis of the facts obtained during the investigation, a motion was submitted to the supervising prosecutor to initiate a public criminal prosecution against the 29-year-old man established in the Kotayk Marz under Article 236, Part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia.
The latter is accused of the fact that in 2024 took appropriate measures in order to materially interest the persons participating in the gatherings called "Tavush for the Motherland" and "Holy Movement" held in Yerevan in May, including the actions of disobedience, blocking streets and demonstrations.

The petition was granted. A decision was made to arrest the 29-year-old man on the basis of presenting him to the court to discuss the issue of using detention as a preventive measure, the execution of which was assigned to the Police.
The investigation is ongoing. Measures are being taken to find out the circumstances of the incident, the sources of funding apparently provided to benefit the gathering, as well as the full range of people involved in the process.
