A 13-year-old girl was raped in Vardenis. the girl's condition is serious

on April 11, several men in Vardenis committed sexual acts against a 13-year-old girl.

According to our source, the girl lives in Sotk. He attends a music school in Vardenis by taxi. The taxi driver and another man with him raped the girl.

"At the moment, the girl's condition is very serious, the doctors are fighting for her life," our source said.

Sevak Khachatryan, head of the Sotki community, confirmed the news in a conversation with us, but did not reveal any other details.

Zarzand Gabrielyan, head of the Media Relations, Analysis and Information Department of the RA Police, informed: "On April 11, the Vardenis police department received operational information that 2 men from the villages of Sotk and Akunk committed sexual acts against a girl born in 2011. During the verification actions and the measures taken, on the basis of the reasonable suspicion that the crime was committed, the men were arrested and taken to the department, where they confessed what happened and were presented to the investigative department with the attached documents."

Gor Abrahamyan, the press spokesman of the Investigative Committee, also stated: "Criminal proceedings have been initiated in connection with the incident of sexual violence against a minor, in accordance with Article 198, Part 3, Clause 2 of the RA Criminal Code."
