A historic minimum of official cars will be recorded in Armenia: Nikol Pashinyan
423 vehicles will be taken back from 52 state bodies and transferred to the State Property Management Committee, the decision was made at today's government session.
The majority of the vehicles will be sold at auction, and those that are new will be replaced with older vehicles from the state system, if necessary.
The auctions will take place electronically.
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that after this decision, the number of official cars in Armenia will reach a historic low.
"I assume that there have never been fewer official cars in the history of our country, which is important in two ways: we are encouraging representatives of government bodies to communicate more with people, and we are also trying to make budget spending more effective," he noted.
