A new settlement has come under Russian control

As a result of combat operations, the Tonenkoe settlement in the direction of Avdeevka came under Russian control, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported.

"The settlement of Tonenkoe of the Donetsk People's Republic was liberated by the coordinated actions of the units of the Russian Armed Forces in the direction of Avdeevka," said the message of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The settlement of Tonenkoe is located on the main road for Avdeivka, which was used to receive supplies to the groups of the armed forces of Ukraine. Now the logistics of the Ukrainian troops is significantly disrupted. Ukrainian artillery was located in this settlement, with which the center of Donetsk was regularly shelled.
