Acceptance of applications for voluntary certification of pedagogical workers of out-of-school educational institutions begins
The RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports announces the acceptance of applications for voluntary certification of pedagogical workers of extracurricular educational institutions from March 15 to April 7, 2024.
The process will be carried out in accordance with the RA Government's Decision N 269-N of March 2, 2023 "On Voluntary Certification of Pedagogical Workers Implementing Extracurricular Programs of State or Community Organizations and Establishing the Procedure for Providing Supplements from the State Budget of the Republic of Armenia".
In accordance with the procedure established by the annex to the above-mentioned decision, starting from 2024, pedagogical workers teaching in state and community children's and youth creative and aesthetic centers, culture houses can also participate in the certification.
Certification according to directions is carried out by way of testing. Regardless of the number of courses taught, a pedagogical worker can apply for certification in only one course of his choice in a given year.
In order to participate in the certification, pedagogical workers submit applications in the electronic journal of the Education Management Information System ( at.emis.am ) until April 7 at 18:00, and receive a message about their acceptance. Applications submitted after the deadline specified in the announcement are not considered and are returned to the pedagogical worker who submitted the application, indicating the reason.
The following documents and information are required when applying for certification:
the name, surname, patronymic of the pedagogical worker.
name of educational institution, location (province, region);
the taught direction from which the certificate is going to be certified, specifying the rate;
in case of joint work at another extracurricular educational institution, a reference from the place of work;
public services number plate.
e-mail address, mobile phone number of the pedagogical worker.
pedagogical workers teaching in sports schools also submit a copy of a diploma certifying higher education, pedagogical workers teaching in art and music schools - a copy of a diploma certifying higher or secondary professional education, and pedagogical workers teaching in children's and youth creative and aesthetic centers, culture houses - certifying higher or secondary professional education or the certificate certifying the teaching of the subject to be certified in the last 5 years.
A person who does not work in any extracurricular educational institution and meets the requirements of a pedagogical worker submits the following information to participate in the certification:
name, surname, patronymic.
document certifying education (diploma of higher or secondary professional education, certificate of secondary education);
reference on work experience.
place of residence (region, community).
the direction from which it is going to be certified.
public services number plate.
e-mail address, phone number.
A pedagogical worker on leave to care for a child up to three years of age can take part in the certification and, in case of showing the specified result, use the right to receive an additional payment after returning from leave. The five-year period for granting the allowance is calculated from the date of certification.
Certification is scheduled for April 27 and 28, 2024. Due to the number of related applications, it will be considered to hold an evaluation on May 4 and 5. The final schedule for conducting the certification will be published after the applications are summarized.
