Ahead of the upcoming holidays, the Ministry of Internal Affairs urged the citizens.

"We urge you to plan transactions related to travel documents in advance if you are going to cross the border in the coming months. In particular, it is important to pay attention to the validity period of the document, markings on the pages, so that there are free pages for the seal of the border guard, to make sure that the document is not worn or damaged. Postponing such matters before a planned trip is risky and can lead to overcrowding at service desks.

The queues are currently sufficiently unloaded, which is due to both seasonality and the solutions of the new system implemented. We remind you that the queue management system has changed, and currently, both in Yerevan and in the regions, services are provided both by electronic queuing and in the format of a live queue. Queuing are carried out through the migration.e-gov.am platform. Citizens with a reservation are served on the principle of priority at the time chosen by them, and citizens who took a ticket on the spot are served during the first available window. Let's also remember that the passport of an RA citizen is provided on the 5th working day after writing the application, and in case of loss of the passport: 10th working day. The state fee is 1000 drams. Short deadlines for passport exchange are also defined by the government's decision and accelerated services are provided: 1 working day - 20 000 drams (available in Yerevan). 3 working days - AMD 10,000 In case of lost passport: 1 working day - 60,000 AMD. 3 working days - 50,000 AMD. 5 working days - AMD 40,000.
