Alen Simonyan, who spits on the citizen, sued 2 dozen figures and all his claims are satisfied. Ghazaryan

The latter mentioned in a conversation with journalists. "Today I want to get answers to many questions from the General Secretary of the Council of Ministers Maria Pejcinovich Buric. Today, on April 8, during a protest in front of the Foreign Ministry, Edgar Ghazaryan, the former head of the RA in Poland, now a political activist, mentioned this to journalists.

"Both Armenia and Azerbaijan are CE member states; Is it possible that in the 21st century, in the area of responsibility of the Council of Europe, a medieval backward dictator violates internationally accepted principles and rules, attacks an entire people solely in the sense of belonging to his ethnic group, subjects them to genocide, and after that, very shortly after, those people be forcibly displaced.

I wonder if something similar exists in another EU member state or not. Moreover, it will be implemented in agreement with the RA authorities, which is another CE member country.

Is there another CE member country where the HRD becomes a detective and the prosecutor becomes HRD?" he said.

Edgar Ghazaryan also referred to the presence of political prisoners in Armenia, noting. "If those people are not political prisoners, what else are they sitting for? Is there a person in our society who thinks that Armen Ashotyan has committed a crime and should go to prison? Isn't it clear that he is in prison solely for his political positions, his party affiliation? Isn't it clear that Mamiko Aslanyan is in prison only because he won the KP in Vanadzor? Does anyone think that Narek Samsonyan was arrested because he committed a crime?

Alen Simonyan, who spat on a citizen and remained unpunished, sued perhaps two dozen figures, journalists, and without exception all his lawsuits are satisfied at least in terms of asking for forgiveness. Are these modern European standards of freedom of speech, tolerance of authorities?

If the CE president came to Armenia, he should only come with the agenda of these issues, he should say: you know what, if you are a CE member country, you should be guided by CE values. Otherwise, these two together with Aliyev have created a backward, one organized, the other a loose dictatorship, and it turns out that this dictatorship receives the highest evaluation of them."

It should be noted that the General Secretary of the Council of Europe, Maria Pejcinovich Burich, arrived in Armenia. High-ranking meetings are planned, including with RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan.

The participants of the protest claim that there are political prisoners in Armenia and they intend to demand from Burich to organize a discussion in the PACE regarding political prisoners in Armenia and adopt a resolution demanding the release of all political prisoners to the RA authorities.

It should be noted that they consider RPA vice-chairman Armen Ashotyan, public-politician Narek Malyan, former mayor of Vanadzor Mamikon Aslanyan, Vazgen Saghatelyan and Narek Samsonyan, hosts of the Imnemnin podcast, and the leadership of Artsakh held in Baku to be political prisoners.
