"Are you the prime minister of this country or a real estate agent of Azerbaijan?" Levon Kocharyan to Nikol Pashinyan

The RA government concedes the strategic position of Armenia and weakens the defense. It is not clear what Armenia gets in return. Today, March 20, Nikol Pashinyan was asked about this by MP Levon Kocharyan of the NA faction "Armenia".

"If delimitation is not done, then on what basis is demarcation done?" If this was based on the mirror principle, maybe it would be understandable somewhere, but by acting like this, we simply end up in a very weak and bad situation. After this position, I have a question: are you the prime minister of this country or a real estate agent of Azerbaijan?" Levon Kocharyan mentioned in his speech.

Nikol Pashinyan said that in return, Armenia gets a state border. "Our security must be based on the foundations of legitimacy, we must have a state border. Protecting and restoring the territorial integrity of RA is on the government's agenda."

Levon Kocharyan responded that Azerbaijan does not share this approach. "That's why we always face a situation when we hear that Armenia recognizes the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, but we don't get the opposite. You constantly give, but we do not receive in return. Azerbaijan's appeals are worrying. The compromise option does not work."

This time, Pashinyan again showed the map of RA from the podium of the National Assembly, noting: "What are we giving up?" This is the Republic of Armenia, of which I am the prime minister, and the agreement, which was recorded at the international level, that Armenia and Azerbaijan recognize each other's territorial integrity, they must recognize. This is the Republic of Armenia, and no one is going to cede the internationally recognized territory of the Republic of Armenia to anyone. Yes, there are territories of the Republic of Armenia that are under occupation."
