Armenia is considering the possibility of applying to the OSCE to dissolve the Minsk Group, the press secretary of the Armenian Prime Minister, Nazeli Baghdasaryan, wrote.

"The Republic of Armenia is considering the possibility of applying to the OSCE to dissolve the Minsk Group." But we also want to make sure that Azerbaijan approaches the issue with this same logic, and its motive is not, for example, to implement an aggressive policy towards the territory of the Republic of Armenia by developing the so-called "Western Azerbaijan" discourse" (end of quote).

In a post on his Facebook page on January 8, 2025, Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized that there is no and cannot be a Western Azerbaijan on the territory of the Republic of Armenia and emphasized the need for Azerbaijan to abandon this discourse that calls into question the territorial integrity of the Republic of Armenia and to establish peace.
