Bolton called on Israel to destroy Iran's nuclear program

Donald Trump's former national security adviser John Bolton has stated that Israel should consider eliminating Iran's nuclear weapons program in response to Tehran's attack. His words are quoted by CNN.

He emphasized that Iran's attack on the territory of the Jewish state was a failure of the containment policy of Israel and the USA. From Bolton's perspective, Israel's response should be "much stronger."

"Almost certainly none of the missiles at this point contained a nuclear warhead, but you can never be sure that the next attack, the next volley of ballistic missiles, will not contain nuclear warheads," Bolton said.

In this regard, he called on Israel to consider the possibility of eliminating Iran's nuclear weapons program. The former adviser hopes that the White House will not dissuade Benjamin Netanyahu from implementing such a program.
