Oscar-winning actress Charlize Theron, who broke up with her boyfriend Alex Dimitrijevic, decided to try to find her luck and love online.

The actress signed up to celebrity dating app Raya and linked her profile to her official Instagram page, where she has 7.7 million followers, to prove it's really her.

Charlize has hidden her real name and only uses "C" on her profile, including one wearing bright red lipstick in a polka dot outfit and another of her playing with a moustache.

Channing Tatum and Cara Delevingne used Raya, a service that connects people in the creative industry and costs around £124 a year.
