CURRENTLY 23 PEOPLE ARE STILL AT LEAST IN BAKU

We have made progress with humanitarian issues in 2023. On December 7, 2023, there was a joint statement between the staffs of the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan, as a result of which 32 Armenian prisoners of war and 2 Azerbaijani prisoners of war were released.

This was announced by Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan in the National Assembly today, on March 15, during the discussion of the report on the implementation process and results of the RA government program (2021-2026) for 2023 in the NA Foreign Relations Committee. "As of now, 23 people are still being held in prison in Baku, the work on their release is ongoing," Mirzoyan emphasized.
