During the fashion show held in Zagreb, the models went on stage wearing pendants made by an Armenian designer

During the SEVEROCCO fashion show held in Zagreb, the models went on stage wearing jewelry made by an Armenian designer. As "Armenpress" informs, the models of the ROBERT SEVER fashion center of the famous Croatian designer Robert Sever presented themselves with a series of pomegranate pendants by Alina Gishyan.

Alina Gishyan is an Armenian potter, digital designer, and has been living and working in Croatia, her husband's homeland, for six years. He has been making pottery for over 16 years, using the cultural influences of both countries to create works that are both Croatian and Armenian. All members of Alina Gishyan's family have been engaged in decorative pottery in Armenia since 1972.

Alina has her own unique style of functional ceramic pottery. He creates pottery made with food-safe materials, functional, with details of symbolism.

"Since the collection has a baroque theme, the pomegranate, a deep cultural symbol of fertility, abundance and prosperity, was used as an accessory. In some cultures, the pomegranate symbolizes both love and passion. By including these trinkets, Robert Sever aims to highlight that rich cultural content, adding depth and resonance to the collection.

Pomegranate ceramic pendants offer a striking visual contrast to the baroque style. Their bright color and clear shape can serve as key points, adding an element of surprise and visual interest to the overall appearance," Alina Gishyan said in a conversation with "Armenpress", informing that the choice of pomegranate was not accidental, she met the Robert Sever symbol for the first time. in Greece, then already in Croatia, when there was an opportunity to get acquainted with his works, he delved into the symbols of pomegranates and offered to use them as pendants for the exhibition.

Alina's works are regularly exhibited at international exhibitions and art symposia in the USA, Japan, UAE, Russia, Europe, and in Croatia she has individual and group exhibitions every year. He also synthesizes traditional art and modern technologies, creating unique digital designs using Artificial Intelligence. In 2019, Alina Gishyan was awarded the title of People's Master of the Republic of Armenia.

At the SEVEROCCO exhibition, the works of the ROBERT SEVER fashion center founded by designer Robert Sever were presented. ROBERT SEVER has been holding his own place in the Croatian fashion industry for over 22 years. The brand has released more than 100 clothing collections, which were shown both in individual shows and within fashion weeks.
