Emergency situation in Kotayk region

Yesterday, on August 25, a huge iron sign was torn off and hung from an iron advertising pole in the Charentsavan administrative area of the Yerevan-Sevan highway due to a strong wind.

According to Shamshyan, for about 14 hours, the patrols of the Kotayk Marz battalion of the Police Patrol Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, headed by the senior inspector of the battalion service, the duty officer in charge of the day, Artak Asatryan, as well as the rescuers of the Charentsavan fire-rescue squad of the Police Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, based on the safety of citizens, were on duty.

The wind was swinging the dangerous iron sign in such a way that it could be torn off at any second and if cars were passing by at that moment, there was a danger that it would fall on the cars.

Almost several times, the patrol service tried to find out from the officials which structure will be dismantled, but they received an answer that it is not within our jurisdiction.

According to the source, those structures are the "Road Department" of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures, the Kotayk Marzpetara and the owners of one of the hotel complexes operating in the Kotayk Region, who answered that whoever installed them should also dismantle them.
