France on high alert due to storm Florian
France has been hit by storm Florian, and the "orange" climate risk level has been declared in 21 departments of the country, which is the penultimate level of danger. This is reported by Meteo France.
Meteorologists warn that the storm will pass through the territory of the republic from west to east, from the Vendée department to the Ardennes department.
It is noted that in western France, which suffered the first blow of the disaster, wind gusts of up to 34 m/s have already been recorded.
Due to the threat of falling trees, a number of departments have decided to restrict train traffic during the daytime.
