"Hraparak": They decided to be completely disgraced
The “Hraparak” newspaper writes: “A week ago, Hovik Aghazaryan’s lawyer applied to the Prosecutor General’s Office to initiate appropriate legal proceedings to find out how the Anti-Corruption Committee transferred the MP’s personal information to a third party. Let us recall that within the framework of the criminal proceedings, in which Hovik Aghazaryan is a witness, the Anti-Corruption Committee investigator confiscated his phone and handed its contents over to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who in turn handed it over to the entire CP team. However, instead of instituting proceedings, the Prosecutor General’s Office sent a note to the Anti-Corruption Committee investigator, demanding clarifications.
While Aghazaryan will fight for his rights, the Committee announced yesterday that criminal proceedings have been initiated against Aghazaryan himself for “organizing the leakage of information that constitutes a state secret.” By the way, the Criminal Procedure Code does not have a clear idea of how the prosecutor will substantiate the accusation in parliament and convince the deputies that Aghazaryan organized the leakage of state secrets. Apparently, Pashinyan has decided to go all the way, setting aside the law and forcing the prosecutor and his entire team to commit a crime, and Anna Vardapetyan will probably come to the National Assembly in January after Aghazaryan.”
