"I think Kopirkin was summoned to Moscow in connection with Pashinyan's sensational statements." Surens

Political scientist Suren Surenyants writes in his Telegram channel: "Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopirkin was summoned to Moscow for consultations. As a rule, such a diplomatic step is taken when some circumstance that worsens the relations between the two countries appears, or there is a need for significant policy revisions. In my subjective opinion, Kopirkin was summoned to Moscow in connection with Pashinyan's recent noisy statements in the National Assembly, which referred to the participation of two CSTO countries in the 44-day war. It is not excluded, of course, that in Moscow they are predicting results in the domestic political life of Armenia, with the prospect of a possible change in the status quo, and they have the problem of getting information from the "first hand".
