"Iravunk": "No matter whose project we are, we will announce it, don't worry. Aghazaryan is opening parentheses"

The “Iravunk” newspaper writes: “Let's talk about the active steps of the Republic of Armenia towards EU membership with the expelled MP Hovik Aghazaryan, who noted:

"I myself was a supporter of regional integration. However, if our partners believe that Armenia's development depends on Europe, then I will say the following: Armenia cannot claim European membership for 15-20 years at the earliest."

On the other hand, we have a strategic ally, Russia, which is in a difficult situation today. Now, how right is it to turn our backs on our strategic partner and run to Europe in this difficult situation?

I'm not saying that the CSTO is good towards us, no, I've expressed my opinion on it, you know. But the policy being pursued towards Russia today, in my opinion, is not that correct.

-Is it possible that presenting Aghazaryan as persecuted is the government's plan, ahead of the upcoming elections?

"On February 8th, everyone will know whose project the party founded by Hovik Aghazaryan and Hakob Aslanyan is. We will announce it. Let both the opposition and the government forces wait quietly for February 8th."
