"Iravunk" reported that the US Embassy's "client" political forces, NGOs, and figures have found themselves in a "zugzwang" due to expected financial cuts. And yesterday it became known that a decree signed by US President-elect Donald Trump has decided to review US foreign aid spending.
This means that grants from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) will also be reviewed, in the form of cuts. This also applies to Armenia.
"In addition, not only the funding will be reviewed, but also to whom it will be allocated. Therefore, in the near future we will witness a fierce struggle of pro-Americans against each other, the basis of which will not be political or principled differences, but rather the taking of dollars from each other."
