Issues of increasing military industry and state support, promotion of ATS production were discussed

Today RA Defense Minister V. An extended meeting was held at the Sargsyan Military Academy between the members of the RA NA Standing Committee on Defense and Security Issues, the top management staff of the RA Defense General Staff, the Directorate of the Defense Industry Committee of the RA Ministry of Defense, representatives of higher educational institutions and private organizations.

Colonel A. A. Hovhannisyan, Chairman of the Committee on Military Industry of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Armenia. Mehrabyan and others.

 

During the meeting, issues related to increasing the support of the military industry and the state, promoting the production of UAVs, studying international leading experience for the purpose of creating a knowledge-based economy, aligning the military aviation and military industry of Armenia with international standards and other related issues were discussed. Colonel A. Hovhannisyan presented to the attendees in the form of a report the upcoming programs and priorities to be implemented in the direction of improving the given sector.

 

The members of the Standing Committee on Defense and Security Affairs of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia under the chairmanship of Andranik Kocharyan stated their ideas aimed at improving the sectoral indicators, as well as expressed their willingness to assist in the development of sectoral laws.
