It's snowing and blizzarding in Armenia. There are a number of closed and impassable roads.

The Rescue Service informs that there are closed and impassable roads in the territory of Armenia.

The roads leading from the Amberd high-mountain meteorological station to Lake Kari and Amberd Fortress in Aragatsotn region are closed.

The Berd-Chambarak highway is closed to all types of vehicles, and the section called "Zanger" from the Jermuk intersection is closed to trucks and trucks with trailers.

The highway leading from the Yeraskh village turnoff to Vayots Dzor region is closed to trucks.

The Vardenyats Pass (M-10) is closed to trucks and trailers.

The inter-community roads of the villages of Geghanist, Mantash, and Arevshat in Shirak province, Sisian-Goris, Goris-Shinuhair-Tatev highways are closed to all types of vehicles, and the Noravan-Tatev highway is one-way.

The remaining roads in Syunik region, from the M-3 highway to Lernapar, the inter-community roads of Amasia and Ashotsk regions, Tashir-Dashtadem, Tashir-Katnarat (it is foggy), and Alagyaz-Artik highways are impassable for all types of vehicles.

There is black ice in places on the roads of Aragatsotn, Gegharkunik, and Syunik regions.

It is snowing in the Ashotsk region.

There is a blizzard in the Amasia, Ashotsk, and Aragats regions.

Drivers must drive exclusively with winter tires.
