Journalists targeted by supporters of Nikol Pashinyan won in court

During one of Nikol Pashinyan's press conferences, journalists Ani Gevorgyan and Hripsime Jebejian were targeted by CP supporters on social networks for raising sharp questions to Pashinyan, they were insulted, threatened, even their young children were threatened. The journalists have started a legal process, raising the issue of responsibility of the persons who are carrying out a campaign against them, "Pastinfo" writes.

"After that, we started legal proceedings, filed political lawsuits related to the insult. Until now, there have been no such lawsuits, journalists have tolerated insults and slanders against them. Harassment against journalists was intolerable, we decided to create a precedent," said journalist Hripsime Jebejian at the press conference, noting that journalists are often accused of writing materials on request, they no longer pay attention, although it is unacceptable, but after that press conference, the vocabulary was even more unacceptable. , they called them "lirb", wrote: "how would I throw you under my hat", that is why they filed lawsuits so that they do not get used to new accusations, they do not become a habit. "Today I must say that in two cases: Hripsime Jebejian against Diana Martirosyan and Khajak Tananyan, both of whom are supporters of the government, we have won, a fair verdict has been made. These are also precedents," he said, detailing that in the case against Diana Martirosyan, judge Nona Galstyan partially satisfied the demand, deciding that Diana Martirosyan should apologize and pay AMD 70,000 instead of the required 400,000, and in the case of Khazhak Tananyan, the judge Sargis Armenakyan fully satisfied the claim. Tananyan must apologize and pay AMD 400 thousand.

By the way, Dianna Martirosyan wrote about Jebejian. "How would I throw you under my feet, O lirb?" Reports about the crime were also submitted, criminal proceedings were initiated, by which Ani Gevorgyan and Hripsime Jebejian were recognized as victims, but the case has been going on for a year and there is no progress. Ani Gevorgyan also reminded that Dianna Martirosyan tried to carry out the threats on the street. . A lawsuit has been filed against Diana Martirosyan, a decision will be made soon.

He also stated that he had monitored and noticed that the supporters of the government started to delete the notes regarding the political lawsuits presented by them, the comments addressed to them.

"If we can say that we have a good situation with political cases, then the situation with criminal cases is very bad. For example, I am a victim in one of the criminal cases, I was physically assaulted, but there is no charge. I had a separate meeting with the Minister of Internal Affairs, I asked them to find the person who hit me and my cameraman live during the day. This is also strange, they hit the operator with a bottle, the operator does not have the status of a victim," said Ani Gevorgyan.

In addition, criminal proceedings have also been initiated in Kirantsi, in the case of Ani Gevorgyan's cameraman being assaulted by special service officers, the cameraman was recognized as a victim.
