Lukashenko called the statements about the plans of Russia and Belarus to attack the West "nonsense"

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko called the statements about the plans of Russia and Belarus to attack the West "complete nonsense", reports BELTA.

"It is complete nonsense. Today we came openly, we show that we are not going to attack them. We are building a defense system here, - assured the head of the country. - We don't need to attack. I once said somewhere: God forbid, we can deal with Ukraine. What more war against NATO troops? We don't need this. They are waiting for it. They provoke us to at least respond to them in some way. Transfer of subversive groups across the Ukrainian-Belarusian border. Why do they do that? We don't attack, we don't do anything. They provoke us to answer. They are interested in starting this war. Stupid people," said the President of Belarus.

According to him, NATO forces are currently concentrated in the Pabrade military training camp in Lithuania, including military personnel from the USA and Germany. "There are foreign people there. What do you think, Germans and Americans came here and in case of a conflict with Belarusians and Russians, they will protect Lithuania? Yes, this never happened. And they will not protect. In the first serious situation, they will run away from the battlefield. And they will do the right thing. Their lands are located in Germany and the USA. No mercenary will solve the issue here," he said.

In the same way, Lukashenko spoke about the situation on the Ukrainian side and mentioned the rumors about the deployment of professional military personnel from France.

"There are now 120 thousand Ukrainians in the Ukrainian direction. They want to take them and throw them to the front against Russia. And there is talk of deploying French or NATO troops on our southern border. This is good for us. They will not protect Ukraine the way Ukrainians are protecting it now," he said.

"We are not going to fight against them. We don't need this. I have always said and continue to say that we don't need someone else's, but we will not give up ours. Here is our logic. We don't need this war," the head of Belarus emphasized.
