Six analog astronauts will remain isolated in the analog space station built in the village of Armash in Armenia until April 5 to conduct research. "Armenpress" talked with analog astronauts.

The Austrian Space Forum conducts the AMADEE Mars analog science mission every 3 years, the purpose of which is to prepare for a real mission to Mars. Red Planet exploration and astronauts are called analog because no one actually goes into space, but instead gathers experience.

“I know we're going to make a lot of mistakes and that's what we're here for. Our goal is to fail, as much and as cheaply as possible. Gather speed and grow," said Gernot Grömer, director of the Austrian Space Forum.
