"Zhoghovurd" daily writes: "The government has no resources for the vacant positions and has to transfer people from one structure to another. For example, it is transferred from the Prosecutor's Office to the Investigative Committee, from the RA Ministry of Finance to the State Revenue Committee, and from the Migration Service to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Head of Migration Service Armen Ghazaryan was appointed Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs on November 27.

Who is Armen Ghazaryan and what assets does he have? He was appointed the head of the migration service in June 2018, and then, after the structural reforms in the government, the migration service was merged with the newly created Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ghazaryan was appointed the head of the migration and citizenship service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in January 2023.

In other words, Ghazaryan is a revolutionary cadre. Like the majority of the government, he is a former journalist. in 2010 - In 2012, 2016 - 2017, he worked in the "Armenpress" news agency as a reporter. Then he worked at the Embassy of Poland in Armenia, at the National Strategic Research Institute of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia.

During the presidency of Armen Sargsyan, he was the temporary acting chief specialist of the Department of Public and Information Relations of the RA President's Office.

According to Armen Ghazaryan's declaration of real estate, income, expenses and interests for the reporting year of 2023, he purchased an apartment and a parking lot worth almost 33 million drams. Until now, Ghazaryan has not declared any real estate.

Among the vehicles, he declared a Lexus car purchased in 2013.

Ghazaryan's bank deposits during the reporting period amounted to 7.5 million drams and almost 3 thousand dollars. Compared to the previous year, 2022, they have increased by almost 2 million drams.

The balances of the bank accounts amounted to 10 million 630 thousand drams. From 2023 to the end of the same year, they increased by 3 million drams.

Cash funds amounted to 1.7 thousand euros and 1.2 thousand dollars.

No major changes in cash were recorded.

Armen Ghazaryan, as the head of the migration service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, declared an annual income of 16 million 44 thousand drams. The income of the newly appointed deputy increased by 3 million drams compared to 2022.

14 million 307 thousand of the incomes of the reporting year are wages from the migration service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. 1 million 600 thousand and 13 thousand 500 drams from the income are wages from the American University of Armenia and Yerevan State University, respectively.

As of December 31 of the reporting year, the balance of the principal amount of received loans and borrowings was 27 million 892 thousand AMD, which is the balance of the principal amount of the apartment mortgage."
