It should be reminded that Vahan Kerobyan, the former Minister of Economy, was charged in a criminal case regarding "Synergy" and he is under house arrest.

He has been under house arrest since February 16.

According to the pre-investigative body, criminal prosecution was initiated against 8 persons in criminal proceedings regarding the apparent abuses committed during the tender for the procurement of services for the needs of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia.

In particular, a number of officials of the RA Ministry of Economy, on the instructions of their head official, had meetings and telephone conversations with the representatives of "S" company during the tender, discussed with them the conditions of the tender, and even provided them with the documents submitted to the commission by the competitor "H" fund and their during the tender with the assistance of establishing such new or changed conditions, to which the documents submitted by the foundation may be considered non-compliant, giving the opportunity to remove it from the tender.

In this criminal case, Ani Gevorgyan, the wife of NA Speaker Alen Simonyan's brother, Ashot Hovhannisyan, the head of "Synergy" company, and other persons are accused.
