"People". Details from the closed discussion

"Zhoghovurd" daily writes: "Yesterday, a closed discussion was held in the parliament on the initiative of the opposition factions "Armenia" and "I have honor" on the topic of demarcation and demarcation. Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan participated in the discussion.

According to "Zhoghovurd" daily, the discussion was quite heated. First of all, from the beginning, the members of the Communist Party spared no effort to hold the session in a closed format, arguing that they were going to discuss confidential issues. Moreover, several opposition MPs Seyran Ohanyan, Levon Kocharyan, Armen Gevorgyan, Aspram Krpeyan, Arman Ghazaryan, Mher Melkonyan, Armen Rustamyan, Mher Sahakyan, Artur Sargsyan were not allowed to participate in the session, justifying that they do not have a privacy permit. Davit Karapetyan, who has just assumed the mandate, had no weakness of secrecy from the CP. Ararat Mirzoyan stood out for his activity at the discussion, who diligently defended the anti-Armenian theses put forward by Pashinyan. Instead, Mher Grigoryan showed constructive behavior, moreover, he told the opposition that if they initiate such a discussion again, he is ready to participate again. From the answers of both Mirzoyan and Mher Grigoryan, it became clear that in reality, even the authorities do not know what to expect, when the demarcation works will start, which year's maps will be accepted as a legal basis.

During the discussion, the oppositionists raised several questions regarding the fact that the line of contact established on September 24, 1993 should be used as a basis for demarcation and demarcation works, and that before demarcation, Azerbaijan should be restrained and forced to stop border provocations. otherwise, it will turn out that Armenia is under threat of a landslide. however, the authorities have hinted that, in fact, they are powerless in this matter. In addition to this, the opposition parties also noted that territories cannot be ceded to Azerbaijan in the name of border demarcation without a referendum. In response to all these questions, Ararat Mirzoyan and Mher Grigoryan gave vague answers.

We were also informed that questions were asked to Mirzoyan and Grigoryan by Artsvik Minasyan, Gegham Nazaryan, Anna Grigoryan, Artur Khachatryan from the "Armenia" faction, Taguhi Tovmasyan and Tigran Abrahamyan from the "I have honor" faction. And the deputies of the "Civil Agreement" faction, Vahagn Aleksanyan, Sargis Khandanyan, Maria Karapetyan, Taguhi Ghazaryan, Vladimir Vardanyan, asked questions to the opposition MP Artur Khachatryan, who acted as the main speaker during the discussion.
