Presidential elections have started in Russia
Voting in the presidential elections of Russia has started. On the morning of March 15, sites were opened in the eastern marzes and then throughout the country. Voting will last three days, in one third of regions it will also be electronic. There is no doubt that according to the results of the vote, Vladimir Putin will become the president for the fifth time, writes BBC.
Putin's three rivals are Communist Party MP Nikolai Kharitonov, Liberal Democratic Party leader Leonid Slutsky and State Duma Deputy Speaker Vladislav Davankov. The newspaper notes that none of them condemns the war against Ukraine and directly criticizes Putin.
