"Publication". Was Alen Simonyan's childhood dream to become a sociologist?

"Hraparak" newspaper writes: "Recently, the President of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, has been conducting some polls on his Telegram channel: who will be the next leader of the opposition, or which media outlet do you prefer to receive information from? He is a lawyer by profession, but he worked in the legal field for a very short time: he was a producer, starred in films, filmed videos with the participation of showbiz stars, managed Khachatur Sukiasyan's "Ararat" media holding, and then was elected the Speaker of the National Assembly. But, according to everything, he dreamed of becoming a sociologist since childhood. Especially since he did not become a political figure on his own and he holds the position of NA Speaker as long as he shakes hands with Nikol Pashinyan.

This weekend, he decided to measure media ratings and conducted a survey among people who subscribed to his channel to find out which media they consider trustworthy. It would be at least surprising if, for example, a CP member or an employee of the fake SNOC, who are close to Alen Simonyan, would choose "Hraparak" or "Channel 5".

Naturally, they had to choose between Civic.am, Public TV and 1in.am. But when the head of the country goes to Berlin to watch football, and the head of the parliament conducts public opinion polls, the question arises: don't the people at the head of the government have more important things to do, and all the problems in our country have been solved, the only thing left is to prepare for the 2026 elections, which They were also engaged with the Prime Minister of RA, the Speaker of the National Assembly, and others.

According to the editor of the Politic.am website, Boris Murazi, if there was another state instead of Armenia, whose authorities would deal with the key issues of the country instead of engaging in populism, Alen Simonyan would not have occupied the position of the President of the National Assembly a long time ago. "If a person, while occupying the position of the RA National Assembly Speaker, has no other occupation and is engaged in polling, one should just feel pain for Armenia. It is difficult to rate this differently. Can you imagine if the president of the National Assembly would deal with such things in another serious country? I can't imagine. This speaks of the lack of seriousness of our country. A country that lost a war, a country that is in a state of semi-war today, but you don't know what the Speaker of the National Assembly of that country is doing. In other countries, where they know the price of the state and statehood, after such a move, the Speaker of the National Assembly would leave his post, but since Nikol Pashinyan is also a supporter of such approaches, rides a bicycle with a non-athletic figure, etc., it is normal for Alen Simonyan to make inquiries as well." - says Boris Murazi.

And what is the reason for the authorities' phobia regarding mass media? Why are they trying to limit, discredit the media, sort them at any cost? "Their base is a total lie. Any lie detection resource is a competitor for this power. As we know, mass media also speak about the truth, which is painful for the government based on lies. As for making inquiries, that work is definitely not part of the duties of the Speaker of the National Assembly," Murazi concluded."
