Regions in the focus of Viva-MTS: A new service center has been opened in Tshambarak
Viva-MTS is guided not only by the principle of business expediency, but also by the principle of responsibility. Moreover, they are not separated.
Due to population size and other circumstances, having service centers in marzes is sometimes not justified from the point of view of return on business investment. However, Viva-MTS emphasizes a responsible approach, the need to provide high-quality service and services in the capital and beyond.
The leading telecommunication operator started providing services in Chambarak city of Gegharkunik region since 2007. It operated in a small space, in a booth, but with high-quality service, a great opportunity for recommendations and recorded the highest rate of customer satisfaction. Reopened at a new address, the service center with modern solutions has increased the possibility of receiving more customers and providing comfortable service. Residents report that the opening of this service center is an important stimulus for those who live on the border.
Along with business activities, Viva-MTS has demonstrated a responsible approach through various programs in order to alleviate the difference in development rates between the capital city and the regions. In particular, various projects were implemented in Vahan village, which is located about 6 km away from Chambarak and is included in the same community. The settlement with a 27 km long border is a northeastern shield for the country. Here, they consider important the feeling of the back, attention and willingness to solve existing problems. Vahan was in the center of attention of Viva-MTS back in 2008. An opportunity has been created to support a matter that was needed a long time ago. a gas pipeline was built.
Later in 2014, Viva-MTS and the Wildlife and Cultural Heritage Foundation (FPWC) installed a solar water heater in the village's kindergarten. The effectiveness of the use of new technologies did not take long. gas consumption and heating costs in the kindergarten decreased by approximately 60%. As a result of the application of new technologies, the problem of environmental, energy saving and community development is also solved. In 2015 and 2016, works were carried out to illuminate the streets of Vahan. An LED exterior lighting system has been installed.
The company provided 10 computers to the secondary school of the village in order to organize the educational process using modern methods. Taking care of the society, the value system established in Viva-MTS, has become a behavior for the employees as well. Years ago, a bathroom was built in the school building with about 2 million drams collected as a result of the personal investment of the employees of the Finance and Administration Department.
It is not easy to engage in animal husbandry in Vahan. the geographical location of the village dictates its own rules. Leaving cattle on the pasture carries risks. upon crossing the border, the return of animals becomes impossible. Viva-MTS and the Foundation for Conservation of Wildlife and Cultural Heritage (FPWC) have tried to be helpful in this regard as well. Rural farmers have been provided with a mobile system of solar-powered 'electric shepherds', preventing damage to small farms.
Viva-MTS, together with another partner, "Fuller House Building Center of Armenia", also implemented a housing construction project in Vahan. Along with business activities, Viva-MTS integrates villages with the projects initiated with its partners in a process based on the four components of sustainability: environmental, economic, cultural and social.
