Systemic large-scale corruption transactions took place at ANIF, and neither the director of ANIF nor its leader Nikol Pashinyan could remain uninvolved in them. Tovmasyan

I would like you to provide us with any information about the biggest corrupt case of Nikol Pashinyan's government, namely the state-entrepreneurial investment fund ANIF. Taguhi Tovmasyan, a deputy from the "I Have Honor" faction, said this at the session of the NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs, addressing Prosecutor General Anna Vardapetyan.
Tovmasyan announced that 25 billion drams had been wasted through the ANIF fund.
"This case has been under investigation since 2022. Perhaps it can be classified as one of those cases where there is a case but no defendants. Should someone be held accountable for this case or not?"
I want to remind you that large-scale systemic corruption transactions took place here, and neither the director of ANIF nor its leader Nikol Pashinyan, who in 2019 was proud and boasted that the most important body of the century had been formed, which would save us and investments would flow to Armenia, could remain uninvolved in them.
Not only did the investments not flow, but 25 billion drams evaporated from the pockets of proud taxpayers, and there is a case in arbitration against Armenia regarding Air Arabia. I would like to remind you that relatives, friends, and family members of representatives of law enforcement agencies worked in this structure.
"They received salaries of millions of drams. Now ANIF is gone, those people are gone. It was unclear what service they were providing by receiving those large salaries," said T. Tovmasyan.
He noted that if the prosecutor does not address this and the other cases he raised in his closing remarks, he should at least address them during the plenary session.
