The air temperature will rise by 6-8 degrees, then drop by 7-10 degrees.

In the territory of the Republic of Armenia, on the evening of January 5, in some regions, and on the night of January 6, precipitation in the form of snow is expected in the mountainous and foothill zones in a significant part of the regions. In some mountainous regions, a blizzard and low horizontal visibility are also expected. On January 7-9, no precipitation is expected. The information is reported by the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center of the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The wind is northwesterly, with a speed of 2-4 m/s. The air temperature will rise by 6-8 degrees on the night of January 6, and decrease by 7-10 degrees on the night of January 7-8.

Precipitation is expected in Yerevan in the late evening of January 5 and the night of January 6, in the form of snow in the highlands, and wet snow and sleet in the lowlands. No precipitation is expected on January 7-9.

In the capital, the temperature will be 3-5 degrees Celsius during the day on January 5, and 0...+2 degrees Celsius will be recorded in the evening.
