The deputy minister of KGSM called the priest's dress "derya" and cursed. Tovmas Arakelyan

The deputy minister of KGSM called the priest's dress "derya" and cursed.

In a conversation with journalists in Gyumri, Tovmas Urarakir Arakelyan said:

"We had a contract with the Aznavour Foundation. I am the producer of "Give Hope" children's choir. We have to give a speech in Gyumi, which was supposed to start at 2 p.m.

Suddenly, the person in charge, posing as the deputy minister of KGSMS, calls and clumsily says that you should not give a speech and that the concert is on the 12th and you have to give a speech in half an hour. I told them that you feed from the state budget and you have no power in this country.

When I arrived at the scene, the demagoguery continued. The person in charge of KGMS called my priest's dress "derya". I told him that you are clumsy and indecent, because mocking a priest's dress is indecent," Arakelyan said.

Let's remind that a concert dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Charles Aznavour was planned at Gyumri Theater Square today at 14:00, during which the Tavush Diocese "Give Light" choir, led by choirmaster Maria Galstyan, was supposed to perform.

The "Tavush for the Motherland" movement led by Bagrat Srbazan was also going to Gyumri to listen to the concert.

The event was canceled at the request of Daniel Danielyan, deputy minister of KGSMS.
