The doctor called this stroke life-threatening. it can lead to cardiac arrest

A pulse below 45 and below 130 pulses per minute is life-threatening, doctor, candidate of medical sciences Andrey Kondrakhin told "Moscow 24".

According to him, a normal heart rate for a person is considered to be 55 to 80 beats per minute.

"If the pulse is 130 beats, you should call an ambulance. It is considered high and the heart is not working efficiently. It contracts so quickly that it does not fill with blood. A heart attack can occur due to the increased workload," said Andrey Kondrakhin.

Low blood pressure is no less dangerous. it can lead to loss of consciousness and even cardiac arrest.

“If the pulse drops to 45 or below, you should also call an ambulance. The heart beats very rarely and does not tolerate blood normally. In reality, the person seems to be in a state of stupor, his organs and tissues are very poorly supplied with blood, and he may lose consciousness. There may even be cardiac arrest," warned the expert.
