The handing over of Tavush villages has direct and indirect serious consequences. Abrahamyan presented maps

MP Tigran Abrahamyan of the NA "I have honor" faction published and wrote maps.

"2 more pictorial maps that show what is expected of Tavush marz settlements and infrastructures of republican, interstate significance in the 4+4 version (the 4 villages bordering Azerbaijan in the first phase and the so-called 4 enclaves in the 2nd phase) phase) in case of delivery.

The first map shows the settlements of Sofulu and Barkhudarlu declared by Azerbaijan, which are part of our communities according to the Law on Administrative Territorial Division of the Republic of Armenia and cross (close) the road from Ijevan to Azatamut-Kayan-Vazashen-Berd.

Although the Chambarak-Berd road, which is considered an alternative, is being repaired, it is problematic in terms of relief and climate, and several parts of it are very close to the front line, and at different times Azerbaijan has set some parts of the road under fire.

By the way, Sofulu and Barkhudarlu are very close to the road from Ijevan to Achajur, Sevkar and from there to Voskepar, Baghanis and Noyemberyan.

In the second map, in light green color, I tried to show the so-called "gender zones", which will be formed from the handover of 8 villages.

As can be seen from the map, the handing over of these villages has direct and indirect serious consequences, under which a large number of villages appear in isolation, semi-isolation (outside the republican, regional logistics routes) and what is the most dangerous here, they become highly vulnerable in terms of security.

What I am talking about is expressed in a certain comparison in Syunik Marz, especially in the section from Goris to Kapan.

This situation arose after December 2020, when the government handed over different pieces of the road from Goris to Kapan, in the adjacent wings of the villages of Vorota and Shurnukh, and the life of the settlements in those areas, including the cities of Goris and Kapan, underwent a turning point."
