The explosion on Ryazansky Avenue in Moscow killed Igor Kirillov, the head of the Russian Armed Forces' radiation, chemical and biological defense troops, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reported. Another serviceman, an assistant to the general, was also killed. A criminal case has been opened at the Moscow Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee, kommersant.ru reports.
The Investigative Committee reports that an explosive device was detonated, which was placed in a scooter parked near the house.
