The patrols neutralized the passenger of "Gazelle", who had a gun and knives with a secret lock.


Today, on July 26, the patrols of the Armavir Marz Battalion of the Police Patrol Service of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs, led by battalion commander Gharib Grigoryan and the patrols of the 1st battalion of the Yerevan Police Regiment, led by deputy regiment commander Levon Manukyan, disarmed a citizen due to their prompt response to the citizen's alarm. As photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan reports , a passenger on the Etchmiadzin-Yerevan route noticed that a citizen boarded a vehicle, and weapons and ammunition were found in his possession. That citizen alerts the operational control center of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs Police, from where the information is transferred to the Armavir Marz battalion of the PS. The local patrols, battalion commander G. Led by Grigoryan, they reach the specified place in Etchmiadzin city in a matter of minutes, but they find out that the "Gazelle" has gone to Yerevan. The patrols and policemen of Vagharshapat, seeing that the "Gazelle" has already entered Yerevan from Armavir region, inform about it. Grigor Matevosyan, the deputy commander of the 2nd platoon of the 1st company of the Kotayk Marz battalion of the RA MIA Police in Argavand, their colleagues in Yerevan, and Mher Shakhnazaryan, the junior patrolman of the same platoon, are able to neutralize that citizen in a professional manner. According to the photojournalist, he is 37-year-old Vladimir S., a resident of Armavir Marz. A gun and knives with a secret lock are found in his possession.
