The Prime Minister specified that the Russian border guard troops were given time until August 1

We have informed the Russian side that from August 1 we will independently implement our border security protection, referring to the withdrawal of Russian border guard troops from Zvartnots airport, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at the meeting with journalists.

He mentioned that the leadership of the RA border guard troops sent a letter to their colleagues on the Russian side, informing them about it and that letter is primarily a letter of thanks. The Prime Minister emphasized that there is no need to look for public political approaches here.

Regarding the question of whether there is a risk of war in the future, Pashinyan said: "There should be no war, because we are going for peace, and it is not important here: we are ready, we are not ready. Preparing for war is a very broad concept: what kind of war? And who is ready for war today? These are matters that should be discussed confidentially. Our policy is that there should be no war."
