The report on illegal demarcation has been processed

The report on the crime submitted by the border demarcation commission led by RA Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan regarding the fact of exceeding official authority has been processed. "Pastinfo" was informed about this by the prosecutor's office.

Let's remind that the "Hayakve" initiative submitted a crime report to the prosecutor's office, demanding to initiate criminal proceedings on the fact of illegal border delimitation.

"Our domestic processes provide that the border of RA can be determined only on the basis of an international agreement, which, if concluded, must then be approved by the Constitutional Court and ratified by the National Assembly. In addition, according to Article 205 of the Constitution, international agreements that refer to the borders of the Republic of Armenia must be adopted through a popular referendum. In other words, if the border of RA is determined somewhere, then that document has the status of an international agreement and must pass all domestic procedures, none of which have been passed. The commission that is dealing with it has taken upon itself the obligation that the demarcation that will take place as a result of the work of the two commissions will be considered demarcated, which is a gross violation of all laws and the rights of all of us," Avetik Chalabyan said, detailing the crime. from the content of the program.

The General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Armenia told "Pastinfo" that the report was processed in accordance with the law.
