The suspect in the Moscow car bombing case was arrested in Turkey

Turkish law enforcement officers arrested the suspect directly related to the car bombing in the north of Moscow today. According to "Armenpress" , Anadolu agency reported about it.

Citing Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlik, the media informs that the suspected criminal was arrested in Bodrum city in the west of the country.

On the morning of July 24, two people were injured as a result of a car explosion in the yard of a house on Sinyavinskaya street in Moscow.

An informed source told Interfax that the owner of the car is a colonel of the Russian Armed Forces, who heads one of the divisions of the country's General Staff. Later, the Investigative Committee of Russia announced that the identity of the perpetrator of the explosion had been revealed.

Director of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation, Alexander Bortnikov, announced that the suspect has left for Turkey and negotiations are underway on his extradition.
