April 26 marks the third anniversary of the death of Sona Mnatsakanyan and her unborn child, who were run over by Nikol Pashinyan's motorcade.

Mikael Nahapetyan, a member of the executive body of the Citizen's Decision party, announced that he will not accept this incident, and he calls on everyone to be on Paronyan Street on Saturday at 6:30 PM.

"During these three years, court hearings have been held very casually. Schumacher, who caused the interruption of two lives and left the scene of the incident, is the only defendant in real and historical Armenia who took the life of a person (even two people) by allegedly exceeding the speed limit, left the scene of the incident, but was not arrested."

He is not only free, but also in office. During this time, a number of pieces of evidence and radio recordings have been lost, and everything is moving in the direction that the court, the accused, and the state apparatus will together ensure that the statute of limitations expires and our Schumacher will never go to prison for the deaths of two people.

And so that it is clear to you what kind of moral people we are dealing with, despite all this, let me quote an excerpt from the defense's court texts, which were read in the presence of Sona Mnatsakanyan's successors...

"... we have also found out that in addition to the memorial stone, a monument is installed in the cemetery, the installation and construction works of which cannot be considered as necessary and reasonable expenses for the installation of a memorial stone or tombstone. These are additional expenses, which cannot be considered reasonable and necessary from the point of view of Article 19, Part 1, Point 4, Article 150 of the Criminal Procedure Code. For example, if the mentioned monument were also gilded, naturally, it would cost more..."

I would like to say, "be a little modest, don't allow yourself luxuries at our expense"... and this is said by a man who is on trial for killing a person while taking a servant of the people to some tertiary event with the people's money, in the people's car, and is hinting that "don't take advantage of the fact that we killed your child."

For years now, Nikol's motorcycle has been driving in the same style, regularly getting into accidents and incidents, causing two deaths, one serious injury, several incidents with material damage, and a lot of stress. No one has been held accountable for any of these incidents, and this city is not safe for any of our wives, children, or loved ones, because there is a motorcycle that can do anything to it.

I'm not going to accept this, I never imagined this kind of country in my ten years of democratic struggle. And I'm sure that for many, many people, there is no justification for tolerating this either.

And as a manifestation of healthy democratic immunity, protest, and human compassion, I and a number of other citizens, a group of people from different camps, different views, and different life paths, will be at the site of Sona Mnatsakanyan's hit-and-run at the Paronyan-Leo intersection on Saturday, the 26th, at 6:30 PM. We will lay lilacs, light candles, and commemorate the memory of that innocent woman, a decent citizen, and a good person, whose life was cut short so that someone could satisfy their unjustified need for power.

I will wait for all those whose words, values they profess, and lives I believe in and sympathize with. Let's embrace and sympathize with each other and give each other hope that the citizen has not died among us and that we will not be killed at intersections, crossing the street under a green light, as if we had never been there.

"Saturday 6:30: Paronyan-Leo," Nahapetyan wrote.
