Trump wants to meet the Indian Prime Minister

The Indian Foreign Ministry did not clearly answer the question about the possible meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and former US President Donald Trump.

Modi will visit the US from September 21 to 23. During the visit, the Prime Minister of India will participate in the meeting of QUAD leaders, the session of the UN General Assembly and will meet with Indians living in the USA.

"The Prime Minister will hold many meetings, we are busy organizing them. Now we cannot answer the question about that specific meeting, whether it will take place or not. We consider how much time there is and with whom the watchman can meet during that time. We will continue to provide information about the meetings," said India's First Deputy Foreign Minister Vikram Mishri, answering the question about a possible meeting between Modi and Trump.
