"Ukraine has become a hostage of the USA". Klitschko

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko has admitted that Ukraine has become a hostage of the US domestic policy, within which members of the Republican Party are delaying aid to the country. Klitschko said this in an interview with the Daily Beast.

"Today we see that the Republicans are blocking the supply of weapons to Ukraine. We listen to Trump's rhetoric, it's just a result of the election campaign," said Klitschko.

He added that the situation for the armed forces of Ukraine on the frontline is expected to worsen until the US presidential elections.
