"Mufasa, the white lion of the Yerevan Zoo, was born in Yerevan and donated to the park at the age of 4 months. The lion was cared for by the park staff and is closely related to its caretakers.

Mufasa is a very young lion, this year he turned four and became an adult, so we have already started introducing Mufasa to the female lions of the park.

By the way, many people think that Mufasa is albino, which is wrong. White lions are not a special species, they are African lions, they can freely interbreed and produce offspring with lions with normal coloring. And their color is the result of a natural color mutation, which was strengthened as a result of selection."
