Although the principle of territorial integrity continues to remain a fundamental approach in international law and declarations, the rules of the game “on the ground” seem to have changed significantly. Tigran Abrahamyan, secretary of the NA “I Have Honor” faction, wrote about this on his Facebook page.
"If previously only the "big ones" could violate this principle, now it seems that it is gradually turning into a "regular" offense."
After a 44-day war, Azerbaijan occupied 240 square kilometers of the sovereign territory of Armenia between 2021 and 2023.
In the absence of international pressure and the criminal inaction of the Armenian authorities, Azerbaijan has not only digested its aggressive actions, but is also demonstrating territorial ambitions towards various regions of Armenia.
"And the Pashinyan government talks about everything from everyday life to absurd agendas, but their ideas about state security begin and end with 'putting political opponents under arrest' and depriving them of their freedom," he wrote.
