Who has the right to free and discounted use of public transportation?

Citizens who have the right to purchase preferential packages, as well as free use of public transport, can apply to administrative district buildings (district administrations), "Telcel" offices, or visit the website transport.yerevan.am . This was reported by the Yerevan Municipality.
Let us remind you that citizens who purchased a 30-day, 90-day or 365-day ticket (except for those entitled to free passenger transportation) by February 28, 2020 inclusive will receive an additional 30 days of use.
The following citizens can use Yerevan public transport free of charge:
Family members of persons who died during the military operations of the defense of Artsakh or the Republic of Armenia or who went missing or were declared missing or deceased while performing their official duties,
children up to 8 years old,
orphaned schoolchildren and students,
Persons under full state care living in nursing homes and orphanages,
people with profound and severe functional limitations,
Large parents with 4 or more minor children and a number of other groups.
The following citizens can enjoy the specified privileges when using Yerevan public transport:
Students – 15% discount
Pensioners over 63 years old – 30% discount
Social Security recipients – 20% discount
Schoolchildren – 20% discount.
